Gloria Briseño of Poteet passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the age of 66.  She was born in Freer, Texas, on May 20, 1956, to Jesus and Lucia (Olivares) Briseño.

Gloria loved to crochet, she enjoyed laughing and joking.  Above all else she loved her family and spending time with them.  She loved going to the beach when she could.  She was a very caring and loving mother, who never sat still.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Lucia Briseño.

Gloria is survived by her beloved sons, Gabriel Briseño and wife Annette, Jesus Navarro, Richard Navarro and Matthew Navarro, and grandchildren, Diego Briseño, Alejandro Briseño and Sofia Briseño.

Visitation will be conducted at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm.  Services will conclude at that time.
