Gloria Cantu, 71, of Pearsall, passed away on January 30, 2021, in Pleasanton. She was born October 11, 1949, in Dilley to Pablo Maldonado and Tomasa Rodriguez Maldonado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters: Englentina Maldonado, Estella Gonzales, and Josefina Hernandez.

Survivors include her son, Ernesto Garcia Jr., daughters Eva Trevino, and Irma Velasquez; brothers Noe Maldonado, Efrain Maldonado, Elio Maldonado, Hector Maldonado and Alejandro Maldonado; sisters Paula Hernandez and Esmeralda Herrera; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 5, 2021, starting at 2:00 PM, with a Rosary scheduled for 7:00 PM in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. Please limit physical contact to members of your immediate family only.
