Gloria V. De La O

December 24, 1955 ~ September 6, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Gloria V. De La O, who left this world on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the age of 69. She passed away in Pleasanton, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on Saturday, December 24, 1955 in Jourdanton, Gloria was the daughter of Tomas Villalobos and Perfecta Jimenez Escamilla.

From an early age, she carried a deep love for her family and a strength of spirit that inspired everyone around her.

She was the devoted mother of daughters, Norma Jean Reyna and husband Roy, and Bonnie Sue Almaguer and husband Gerardo; and the proud grandmother of Elijah Michael Reyna and wife Tiffany, Joshua Orion Reyna, Gerardo Almaguer Jr. and wife Ke'Andrah, Phillip Izaiah Criado, Felisha Maria Garcia and husband Jonathon, and Aurelia Davanee Almaguer; and great grandchildren, Ezekial Jude Reyna, Aiden Izaiah Criado, Addison Maráe Criado, Ashton David Criado, Kanon Royce Criado, Malakai Jace Garcia, Mateo Jax Garcia, Micah Jeremiah Garcia, Kaimana Almaguer and Elicia Almaguer. Gloria is also survived by her brothers, Tomas Villalobos Jr. and Domingo Rodriguez and wife Irma, and sisters, Rosa Pagan and Stephanie Escamilla.

Her love and guidance shaped generations, and her warmth will live on in the lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas Villalobos Perfecta Jimenez Escamilla, and sister-in-law, Sylvia Villalobos.

Gloria will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her kind heart, and the way she always put her family first. She had a gift for making everyone feel cared for and special. Her legacy is one of love, strength, and grace.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, with visitation starting at 2:00 pm, followed by the funeral at 3:00 pm at Hosanna Baptist Tabernacle Church, 15 Victory Lane in Leming. Interment will follow in Madre Dolorosa #2 Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and share in honoring her memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hosanna Baptist Tabernacle Church, Heart to Heart Hospice, or any cause that was meaningful to her.

Forever in our hearts, she will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
