It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gordon Guzman, who left this world on September 18, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on June 18, 1972, in Pleasanton, TX

Gordon was not only an amazing artist, but also a gifted sketcher who could bring any idea to life with a pencil. Whether he was sketching, painting, fixing something around the house, or tackling a new project, he poured his heart and soul into everything he did. With a quick wit and a warm smile, he had a way of lifting the spirits of everyone around him. He thrived on staying busy, working with his hands, and creating beauty in everything he touched. When it was time for fun, he loved to dance. But more than anything else, Gordon cherished the moments he spent with his family and friends.

Gordon is survived by his beloved mother, Santa Guzman; brothers Roger Guzman (Mary Ann), Pete Guzman (Petra), Mario Guzman (Sharon), and Jay Guzman; sister Debbie Conner (James); numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with the rosary at 10:00am at Hurley Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Gordon was preceded in death by: his father Roger Guzman and his brother Domingo Guzman.
