Grace M. Crofford passed away on January 11, 2023, in Jourdanton, Texas surrounded by family. She was born in Elgin, Texas on May 19, 1938, to Marie Lucille Krueger and Carl Moden.

Grace was loved and cherished by so many. She always greeted everyone with a hello and smile, even if she didn't know you. She worked many years with several different livestock and auction places. Finally retiring from The Alamo Livestock Exchange in the early 2000's. In her free time, she loved to crochet and made beautiful lap gowns, hats, and afghans. She donated many of her pieces to the nursing homes around Atascosa County and to several nurseries in San Antonio. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and catching up with her friends. She will be missed.

Grace survived by her daughter, Celeste Robledo (Michael Robledo), son Shane Owen, and son Nicholas Owen. She also, survived by her 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Crofford; mother, Marie Lucille Krueger; father, Carl Moden; daughter, Kim Price; son, Matthew Owen; daughter, Lorna Senkbeil, and two grandsons.

Visitation and celebration of life will be conducted at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton on Thursday, January 19, 2023, with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm and Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm. A meal and fellowship will follow at The Jourdanton Housing Authority, 2909 Austin Circle, Jourdanton, Texas 78026.
