Gregorio Cordova, age 81, of Charlotte, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on March 12, 1945, Gregorio was a lifelong resident of Charlotte and a hardworking man who dedicated many years of his life to the oilfield industry. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. Gregorio took great pride in providing for his loved ones and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sally; his sons, Keith Rene and wife Bonnie, Kenneth Ray and partner Diane, and Hector; and his beloved grandchildren, Kenneth Ray II, Keith Rene II and Kensley; brother, Frank Cordova; sisters, Dominga and husband Baltasar Balderas, Lia Cordova, and Vicki Salinas and husband Robert. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly and remember him with love.
Gregorio's family and friends will always remember his kindness, dedication, and the many memories shared throughout his life. His legacy of hard work, faith, and love for family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Gregorio is preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Cleofas Cordova, brothers Eusebio Cordova, Raul Cordova, Pedro Cordova, and Augustine Cordova.
Serving as pallbearers: Keith Cordova II, Gil Romo, Jr., Robert Romo, Julian Casares, George Salinas, and Frank Cordova, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a rosary at 11:00 a.m., at Hurley Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church Hall. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Charlotte, Texas. Interment will follow at Chilipitin Cemetery in Charlotte.
The Cordova family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the prayers, support, and condolences extended during this difficult time.
