Guadalupe Rodriguez Martinez 85, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025.  She was born in Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Aurelia (Reyes) and Alejandro Rodriguez.

Guadalupe is preceded by her husband Rodolfo Martinez, Sr.; Parents Aurelia and Alejandro Rodriguez; siblings Oscar Rodriguez and Catalina Rodriguez.

She is survived by her sons, Rodolfo Martinez Jr. and wife Olga, and Rosendo Martinez and wife Rosie; daughters, Mirna Ayala, and Rosalba Tijerina and husband Carlos; sisters Migdalia, Margarita, and Alicia Rodriguez.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Carlos Tijerina, Sergio Tijerina, Erica Tijerina, Jessica Tijerina, Edward Ayala, and Alejandra Martinez; great-grandchildren, Julian Ayala, Liam Quintero, Axel Teran, Layla Faith Mendoza, Sofia Ayala, Jaslyn Ayala, Liviah Ayala, Julio Mendoza, Kevin Mendoza, Elijah Tijerina, Kaci Tijerina, Cassandra Tijerina and Yessenia A. Teran, great-great-grandson Messiah along with numerous other relatives.

Visitation for Guadalupe will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at St. Rosa of Lima Catholic Church in Charlotte at 10:00 AM with her rosary being recited at 11:30 AM.  Her mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM with interment to follow at the Charlotte Community Cemetery.
