Guy Raymond McKeon III, a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and dedicated servant of his country and community, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024 in Bulverde, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of strength, integrity, and unwavering love.
Born on February 11, 1960 in El Paso, Texas, Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Rae McKeon and Guy Raymond McKeon II, who instilled in him the values of service and dedication that defined his life. He carried those values into his distinguished career as a United States Marine, serving his country with honor and commitment. After his military service, he continued to give back as a police officer, and active member of his church.
Guy's life revolved around his family, who were his greatest source of pride and joy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa McKeon, his children from his marriage to Sylvia McKeon: Jacqueline McKeon, Katherine McRae, Kristin Huizar and Guy McKeon IV, and stepsons Ryan Stout and Zach Stout. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren, Gunner, Lincoln, Presley, Ryker, Niklaus, Lauren, Archer, Hannah, Justin, Johnni Ryan, Hayden, Guy V, Lilly, Jackson, and Lincoln.
Guy is further survived by his brothers, David McKeon and Michael McKeon, and his sisters, Anna McKeon and Nancy McKeon, with whom he shared countless loving memories and an enduring bond.
Guy's spirit will be remembered in the laughter of his grandchildren, the wisdom he imparted to his children, and the countless lives he touched through his service. He lived his life with honor and leaves a legacy of steadfast love and dedication that will be treasured for generations to come.
Semper Fidelis, Marine. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A celebration of Guy's life will be held December 12, 2024, with visitation from 4:00pm to 6pm with a service starting promptly at 6pm, in which we will gather to honor and reflect on the life of this extraordinary man. The family welcomes flowers to honor Guy's memory, which may be sent to Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd Pleasanton, TX 78064). Alternatively, donations may be made to First Baptist Church (202 East Avenue I, Christine, Texas 78012 in his name, supporting his church community.
