It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Toby "Harold" Jambers Jr., a beloved rancher and cherished member of the community, who left this world on May 8, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born on September 28, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, and spent his life in the heart of South Texas, where he cultivated a deep love for cattle ranching, deer hunting, and land stewardship.

Harold proudly earned both his undergraduate and Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University, which set the foundation for his successful career as a rancher. After graduating from Texas A&M, he went on to work for Exxon Oil Company and  Texas Real Estate Research Center before returning to the family ranch to run Beefmaster cattle.  In addition to his dedication to cattle ranching, he also owned a Mesquite tree harvesting business, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to land stewardship.

A man of kind heart and gentle spirit, Harold was known for his generosity toward others. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, particularly striking a joyful balance in life through hunting, fishing, and dancing with his beloved wife. His passion for nature also led him to become an avid arrowhead hunter, exploring the landscapes he so dearly loved.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by the reciting of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home-Pleasanton.  Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Campbellton with burial at Three Rivers City Cemetery.

As we gather to remember Harold Jambers Jr., we invite all who knew him to celebrate his life and reflect on the memories he created in the hearts of those around him. His spirit will live on in the stories shared and the lives he touched.

Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 26 years, Carole Jambers; parents Toby and Evelyn Jambers.  He is survived by son Troy Jambers and his wife Ellen, who will carry on his legacy of hard work and dedication, grandson Toby Douglas Jambers; brothers Tom Jambers (Sue) and Tim Jambers (Shirley) and loving nephews and nieces.
