Harold J Renninger, 85, of Natalia, Texas passed away at home surrounded by family on April 9, 2023.
Harold was born April 24, 1937, in Tiffin, Ohio the son of late Harold and Lucille Renninger.
Harold served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. After an honorable discharge, he was employed by United ISD as a maintenance engineer. Which lead him to his passion of coaching basketball and teaching elementary school.
Harold was a fun spirited soul who took on many passions. Harold loved being a pilot, it had been his dream since he was 8 years old. He loved traveling, reading, and writing. Harold was an extraordinary knifemaker. He had an incredible artistic talent. Harold was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Harold. They were part of who he was, and his strength undoubtedly helped him deal with life's challenges. Harold was a strong fighter.
Harold is predeceased by his parents, Harold O Renninger and Lucille McCrary, his brother, Mike McCrary, his sister Joyce Palmer, his sister Janet Stanton, son Harold Renninger. Harold has one surviving brother, Richard G Renninger
Harold made an impact on many lives. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Ruane, their pets, his daughters, his brother, his grandchildren, great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Ft Sam Houston, May 12, 2023, at 10:15 A.M.
