Harry T. Garza passed away on Sunday March 5, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 2, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas to Fred Z. Garza and Evangelina (Trevino) Garza.
Harry was a graduate of Floresville High School and began his career in Floresville at Bob Richardson Chevrolet Oldsmobile October 9, 1987. He then moved to Pleasanton, Texas with his family in 1995 and continued in the car business with Price Chevrolet, where he was the Director of Fixed Operations.
Harry is preceded in death by his father, Fred Z. Garza; mother, Evangelina (Trevino) Garza; brothers, Ernest T. Garza, Robert T. Garza, Fred T. Garza, and Eugene T. Garza.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cindi (Bench) Garza; son, Josh (Alexandra) Garza; and daughter, Kayla Castro (Eli Garcia); grandchildren, Madelynn, Mackenzee, Noah, Rex, Alonzo, Cash, and Emory; bonus grandchildren, Olivia and Izaiah; sister, Angelina (Jimmy) Huerta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Pleasanton, TX. 78064. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am to 10:30 am, with the rosary being recited at 10:30 am, a celebration of mass will begin at 11:00 am with inurnment following at 12:15 pm at St. Andrew's #1 Cemetery, located 626 Market St, Pleasanton, TX 78064.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Melissa Crawley of Texas Oncology for her compassion and guidance during his battle with cancer. We would also like to extend our gratitude to New Century Hospice for their extraordinary care they provided for him during these last couple of months especially Laura, Tina, Ophelia, and Roberta. Finally, we would like to express our thanks and love to Mr. Bob Price and family for their friendship and support during this difficult time.
