Obituary

On Friday, March 14, 2025 the angels took Ionie Joy "Tiny" Aiken Seiler home.

Tiny was born Tuesday, September 30, 1930 to Percy and Lottie Aiken in Houston Texas. Ionie "Tiny" Aiken married Gussie "Cotton" Seiler on March 7, 1947 in Harris County.

She was a talented seamstress and loved quilting. Tiny along with Cotton, the love of her life for almost 75 years, loved riding horses together. They would even travel with their horses throughout the country making memories while riding horseback.

Besides their travels, she worked alongside her husband on construction projects. Mostly, to save money to load up their horses and travel again. They would be gone for several months. In all, they rode their horses through eight different states.

Tiny is survived by her two daughters, Kay Brown of May, and Sue Moore and husband Rusty of Floresville; son, Ray Blayde Seiler and wife Rosemary of Leming; sister, Julia Aiken; and grandchildren, Johnny Brown and wife Marielenna, Wade Brown and wife Leah, Donnie Spruill and wife Penny, Jessie Brown and wife Juna, Lisa Aldis, Rusty "R.T." Moore and wife Sarah, Heather Grohman and husband Garrett, Megan Stevens and husband Chris, Hannah Chenault and husband Craig; numerous great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and "Dutche", her dog.

Tiny was preceded in death by her husband of almost 75 years, Gussie "Cotton"; parents, Percy and Lottie Aiken; 3 siblings, and son-in-law, John Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Samaritans Purse.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 10 AM until the funeral service which will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Interment will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.
