Obituary

Isaac Benevidez Alaquinez passed away in Jourdanton, on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 40.  He was born in Jourdanton on September 8, 1983, to Gilbert Alaquinez, Jr. and Rosa Linda (Benavidez) Alaquinez.

Isaac, also known as "DJ Shoot It" loved music and developed a deep passion for music at a young age.  He was a self-made entrepreneur who did not let much hold him back.  Whether he was on stage mixing beats or simply enjoying his favorite tunes.  His love for music was infectious and had an incredible ability to uplift and bring joy to those around him with his talent.  Not only was Isaac a master of music, but he also had a culinary flair. He loved to cook as much as he loved to eat, always experimenting with new recipes and flavors.  He was always on the go, hustling, cooking, and barbecuing, especially when family and friends were around.

Another passion of Isaac's was the car club scene, where "Envious Rides" was born.  He cherished his vehicles and the friendships he formed within the car clubs.  The open road gave him a sense of freedom and adventure as he embraced every opportunity to cruise the streets. Even in bodies of water, riding his jet skis, he was loving life.

Adored by many, Isaac had a charismatic and humble personality.  He had a smile that you could tell he was up to something.  His ability to make friends easily was a testament to his genuine and compassionate nature.  Isaac's impact on those around him will be forever cherished.

Isaac Alaquinez will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and his memory will live on through the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. As we gather to pay our final respects, let us remember him with love, gratitude, and fond memories. May his soul find eternal peace.  May he continue to play his music within the pearly gates and fill heavens dance floors with crowds.  Rest in Peace "DJ Shoot It"
