Isidoro Ortiz Barboza passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the age of 76.  He was born in Leming on April 4, 1947, to Gregorio Barboza and Benita (Ortiz) Barboza.

Isidoro worked for 40+ years at Columbia 300.  He was a hardworking and kind-hearted man who touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a natural ability to make people feel at ease and always had a smile on his face. Isidoro's easy-going nature and genuine care for others meant that he was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

One of Isidoro's greatest joys in life was spending time with his family. He was a great father, husband and grandfather. Isidoro's love for his family was unconditional and unwavering, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

Isidoro was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio Barboza and Benita Barboza.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Gloria Saldua Barboza; sons, Ricardo Barboza and Marcos Barboza; grandchildren, Elizabeth Barboza, Terryann Barboza, Israel Dillard, Ethan Barboza and Nathan Barboza; and sister, Maria Barboza.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Isidoro Ortiz Barboza on Friday, October 20, 2023, in the Hurley Funeral Home chapel, starting with a visitation from 9:30 am until 11:30 am, with a reciting of the rosary at 11:30 am, and funeral service at 12 pm.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Leming.
