Air Force Retired Technical Sergeant Jacqueline (Jackie) Elaine (Williams) Howard, of Jourdanton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in San Antonio. She was born in Slab Fork, West Virginia on November 15, 1951, to Preston Collins and Corine Williams. She is married to David Howard for 27 years of Jourdanton, Texas.

Jackie, who dedicated twenty years of her life to the United States Air Force, was adventurous, caring and protective. She enjoyed hosting family events where everyone was welcomed. She spent most of her life caring for others, lending a helping a hand when she could, being a shoulder to cry on, and standing up for people that she didn't even know.

During her military career, she traveled the world, meeting new people who would soon become family, gaining experiences and knowledge that she would pass on to her children, and meeting the love of her life that she would marry decades later, and building a big and abundant family filled with love.

Jackie loved sewing, gardening, spending time with her grand and great grand children and her dog Goldie. She also loved basketball, which she played in high school and the military, and she loved watching the Spurs with her daughter. She was an amazing wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and will be greatly missed by everyone that had the honor of having her in their life.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Preston Collins and Corine Williams and brothers Donald Brown and Micheal Williams.

Jackie is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, David Howard, sisters Pamela Williams, Diane Williams, and Edna Calloway, and children, Antoinette (Toni) Smith, Lynda Howard, David Howard Jr. (Rosie), Tatsuo Howard (Veronica), Yuko Roblez (Pierre), Precious Howard and Princess Cox. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lucky Smith, Aubrey Howard (Laura), Elysia Gutierrez (Joseph), Ilana Gutierrez (Justin), Asia Howard (Charles), Destinee Farris, Marvin Farris, Isabella Howard, Deja Patten, Tatsuo Howard Jr., Kyree Howard, Trinity Howard, Takashi Howard, Orin Rodriguez, Liam Rodriguez, Kiyoshi Roblez, Taj Holeman, Kayden Holeman, Treyvon Jefferson and Princeton Howard; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Howard, Isaiah Howard, Teresa Howard, Nylah-Svaé Keys, Cassius Keys, Kaius Keys, Aiden Howard, Aubrey Howard, Charleigh Guillory and Marcellus Jefferson, along with numerous other family members.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Texas, with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas at 10:30 AM.
