Jesse "Jay" Rodriguez, of Jourdanton passed away in San Antonio on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. He was born in Pleasanton on Friday, December 30, 1955 to Roger and Celia (Alvarado) Rodriguez.

Jay is survived by his parents; sons, Jason Rodriguez, and James Roger Rodriguez; brother, Johnny Rodriguez; and sister, Irma Castaneda and husband Frank. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Victoria L. Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Yliana Rodriguez, Alex Villanueva, and Isaac Villanueva; nieces; nephews, and many friends.

Visitation and services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm, followed by the reciting of the rosary at 2:00 pm, and the celebrating of the mass at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow in Rodriguez Family Cemetery, 10966 FM 2146, Jourdanton.
