Jesse H. Salazar of Pleasanton passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He was born in San Antonio, on August 4,1953 to Marcello and Delia (Hernandez) Salazar.

Jesse is survived by his wife Darlene R. Salazar; son, Jesse Salazar Jr. and wife Marie; and daughters, Megan Ramirez and husband Juan, and Samantha L. Salazar. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jesse Salazar III, Danielle Ramirez, and Varro Ramirez; and sisters, Janie Gamero, Maria Salazar, Hermina Gonzalez and Elvida Marin.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Julie Ann Lopez; grandson, SPC. Terrence B. Salazar; brothers, Alfred Salazar, Marcello Salazar Jr., and Joe Salazar, and sister, Nellie Barron, Guadalupe Cantu and Delia Garza.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Hurley Funeral Home, from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Hurley Funeral Home, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Salazar Family Cemetery, off Parsons Road, Pleasanton.
