Jessie Lee Schievelbein, a beloved mother, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on January 7, 1953, to James Ford and Eva Elizabeth (Leslie) Ford.

Jessie graduated from Edison High School in San Antonio in 1971. She always cherished the memories and friendships formed during her time there.

Jessie worked for several years with the Army Residence Community, bringing comfort and care to the residents. She was also a familiar face at the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, where she actively contributed to the growth of local businesses.

Jessie's love for her community extended to her involvement in the Cowboy Fellowship Helping Hands Ministry, where she selflessly lent a helping hand to those experiencing hardships.

When Jessie wasn't busy enriching the lives of others, she found solace in her favorite pastimes. She had a profound love for cruising, exploring new destinations and enjoying the adventure that each trip brought. Furthermore, she found tranquility and joy in the beauty of the beach, the crashing waves serving as a source of peace and inspiration. With her humble and easygoing nature, Jessie truly embraced the simple pleasures life had to offer.

Above all, Jessie's faith was at the center of her life. Her unwavering devotion to God guided her actions, and she found comfort and strength in her spirituality. She was an example to all, reminding us to love unconditionally, to offer a helping hand, and to remain grounded in our beliefs.

Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Alvin Schievelbein; mother, Eva McElroy; grandsons, Clayton Ronald Sprenger and Dillion Reyes; brother, James Ford; and sister, Lois Ford.
