Jesus Ramos, 73, of Texas, passed away on November 21, 2025. He was born in Charlotte, Texas in 1951 to Jesus Ramos and Maria Louisa Del Bosquez Ramos.
He graduated from Charlotte High School with the Class of 1972. He was the oldest son of nine siblings and took that role to heart, leading by example with his strong work ethic and dedication to his family. Jesus was a proud farmer and rancher who was happiest on his tractor and out at the ranch. He was known as a very hard worker and a talented mechanic, always willing to tackle a problem and find a way to fix it.
He loved western movies and could often be found in his work clothes and boots, wearing his John Deere cap and carrying his can of dip. He was outspoken, straightforward, and always ready to give you a hard time in a way that made people laugh and feel loved. Those who knew him will remember his strong personality, quick remarks, and the way he kept everyone on their toes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Ramos Sr.; his mother, Maria Louisa Del Bosquez; and his brother, Lorenzo Ramos.
Jesus is survived by his children: Daughter, Belinda (James) DeLeon Son, Jesse (Amanda) Ramos Daughter, Brenda (Rudy) Carrasco Son, Joel Ramos Son, Jerry (Laya) Ramos He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and his siblings: Brother, Leonardo (Caroline) Ramos Brother, Joe (Ida) Ramos Brother, Ruben (Becky) Ramos Sister, Isabel Pesqueda Sister, Carmen (Tio) Corona Sister, Lucy Vallejo Sister, Sandy Hunt.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Services for Jesus Ramos, Jr., will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, all at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Charlotte, starting with a visitation at 11:00 am, a reciting of the rosary at 1:00 pm and mass at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Charlotte Community Cemetery.
