Jimmie Joe McBride Jr., 58, passed away on May 24, 2023 in San Antonio, TX.  He was born on June 8, 1964 in Galveston, TX to Jimmie Joe McBride Sr. and Sallie Lyerly.  He enlisted in the Navy and served our country honorably.  After his time in the military, he went to college and received his degree in nursing.  Jimmie was a proud ER Nurse for over 20 years serving the Bay City Area.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his father Jimmie McBride Sr.; and his only child, his beloved 9 yr. old boy, Johnny Rebel McBride, who was tragically lost in an accident.  He is survived by his mother Sallie Johannes and stepfather Carl Johannes; 3 brothers and numerous other relatives and friends.

The graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Jourdanton City Cemetery under the direction of Hurley Funeral Home.
