Jimmy Polasek, 87, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Pleasanton, Texas.  He was born in Floresville, Texas on August 18, 1935, to Jim and Rosie (Myska) Polasek.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie Forrest Polasek; son, James Polasek; brothers, Raymond and Roy Polasek and two half-sisters, Frances Barnes and Lillie Mae Schafer; brother-in-law, Robert (Bob) Foster and Donnie Forrest; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elmira Rogers and Robert (Bob); and sister-in-law, Jannette Forrest.

Jimmy is survived by son, Michael Polasek and his wife Monica; daughter-in-law, Susan Polasek; brother, R.D. Polasek and wife Minnie; sister, Patty Foster; sister-in-law, Kathleen Polasek; brother-in-law, Melvin Forrest Jr.; two grandchildren, Ashley Martinez and husband Paul, and Eric Carver and wife Melissa; great-grandchildren, Kiias, Korbin and Karsyn Martinez and Aubrianna and Isabella Carver.  Jimmy is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton.  The funeral service will be Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment to follow at Jourdanton City Cemetery.
