Joe Garcia Jr., 50, passed away on January 17, 2022.  He was born on June 12, 1971, in Petersburg, TX to Jose and Oralia Garcia.

Joe was an avid fisher and enjoyed fishing from Bob Hall Pier and going to Indianola.  He loved to cook, listen to Kevin Fowler and sit on the beach watching the waves come crashing in.  He was a hard-working man and enjoyed the freedom he got riding his motorcycle.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Oralia; wife Melissa Pena Garcia, sister Debbie Garcia and brother Ralph Garcia.  He is survived by his wife Josie Romero-Garcia; partner Gracie Morales; goddaughter Charisma Ledesma; brothers Rudy and Adam Garcia; sisters Teresa Rosales, Delores Venges, Alice Garcia Peggy Arguijo, and Carol Ledesma; countless nieces and nephews.

**There will be a memorial service will be held in his honor at 11:00 am on Monday, January 31, 2022, at New Beginnings Baptist Church 535 Trade Street in Pleasanton, TX.**
