Johnny L. Vasquez passed away at his residence surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. He was born in Poteet on Monday, January 23, 1956 to Didio and Estella (Leal) Vasquez.

Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, on Friday, June 19, 2026, starting at 5:00 pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Pedro Bautista Catholic Cemetery outside Christine.
