It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Juan Manuel "Bugz" Rodriguez, who left us too soon on January 20, 2026. Born on October 22, 1961, and was the oldest of 9 siblings. He lived a full  life in a short amount of time full of family, friends and unforgettable memories.

Juan, a dedicated handyman and oilfield worker, was known for his big heart and generous spirit. He had a passion for Iron Horse Bikes and a love for all animals. He loved spending time with his friends, enjoyed good music, and living life to its fullest. While he may have been a private man with a rough exterior, those who knew him understood the warmth and kindness that lay beneath.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Manuel T. Rodriguez and Sylvia C. Rodriguez, as well as his brother, Jose Victor Rodriguez. Juan leaves behind his son, Juan "Johnny" Antonio Rodriguez, and his cherished grandchildren: Adrian Xavier Maldonado, Isela Love Rodriguez, and Novah Sylvia Milan Rodriguez. He is also survived by a loving group of siblings, including Esperanza "Hopie" Reyes (Ysidro), Zoraida Casares (Julian), Yolanda Rodriguez, Rogelio Rodriguez (Janie Gaitan), Elza Castillo (Ernest), Simona Rodriguez, and Virginia Rodriguez. Additionally, he will be missed by 17 nieces and nephews, and 11 great nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be said at St. Andrew Catholic Church Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM, leading into a Mass celebrating Juan's life at 11:30 AM.

As we reflect on Bugz life, let us remember the joy he brought to those around him and the love he shared with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
