Juanita Rendon Felan, 92, of Rossville, Texas, went to be with Jehovah on February 12, 2024. She was born to Roman and Petra (Felan) Rendon on November 23, 1931, and was raised in Rossville, Texas.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Roman and Petra Rendon, husband, Ismael P. Ramirez (1988) and Augustin H. Felan (2003), her three sisters, five brothers, grandchild Renee Franco, and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear family members.

Juanita is survived by her sons, Pedro Ramon Ramirez and wife Crystal R. Ramirez of Lake Jackson; and Edmundo Ramirez and wife Olga M. Escamilla of Rossville; grandchildren: Raymond Ramirez (wife Ashton), Gilbert Ramirez, Jaqueline Ramirez, Savanah Blue, John D. Brown, Edmundo Ramirez Jr. (wife Catherine), Graciela Ramirez, Amber N. Rodriguez, and Nicolas Rodriguez III; great-grandchildren: Marissa Allen, Jazmyne Franco, Diego Franco, Steven Ximenez, Justo Ramirez, Anna Ximenez, Garbriel Ramirez, Beckett Ramirez, Gavin Bounds, Greysen Bounds, Genavie Bounds, Arlo Ramirez, Ismael Ramirez, and John D. Brown II.

Juanita encountered many people throughout her life, developed long lasting relationships, and was loved and respected by those that knew her. She was extremely resourceful and through this skill she was able to help many people during her lifetime.

Visitation for Juanita will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00am.

Serving as pallbearers for the service will be Raymond Ramirez, Gilbert Ramirez, Willie Rothwell, Edmundo Ramirez Jr., John D. Brown, and Nicolas Rodriguez III
