Juanita R. Gandara, 87 of Pearsall, entered rest on October 6, 2020, she was born on June 23, 1933, in Pearsall to Ricardo and Estefanita Garza Ramirez.  She is preceded in death by her husband Paulo Gandara Sr., son, David Gandara Sr., sisters, Santos Gallardo, Rosa Alvarado and bother, Rey Ramirez.

She is survived by her children: Cruz Gandara Sr. (Sylvia) of Pearsall, Zelma Gandara of Waco, Gilda Ruiz (Raul) of Alvin, Irene Cantu, Ely Gandara (Nelda) of San Antonio, Paulo Gandara Jr. of Pearsall,  Hector Gandara of Pearsall; daughter in law, Lolly Gandara; sister, Alicia Ramon of Pearsall; 19 Grandchildren, 47 Great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews,

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Hurley Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 10:00 am with interment to follow at the Catholic East Cemetery in Pearsall.
