Judy Rodriguez Perez, age 43 of Tilden passed away at home with her family by her side on February 25, 2024. She was born in Laredo, Texas to Alfredo Jr. and Sara (Mendoza) Rodriguez, on September 3, 1980.

Judy enjoyed baking, dancing, singing, shopping, and loved to draw. Most of all she was a devoted mother. Judy worked for 13 years at the LaSalle County Regional Detention Center - TX - Emerald in Encinal. Her many positions included, kitchen cook, kitchen supervisor, guard, she ran the laundry department, mail room clerk, and commissary.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Markus Perez; children, Sarah Denise Garza, Devon Perez, and Eliana Perez; brothers, Juan Luis Rodriguez (Brenda), and Alfredo Rodriguez III (Maria), and sister, Rebecca "Becky" Jordan (Oliver). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Hurley Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow in Jourdanton City Cemetery.
