It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julian H. Perez, a beloved member of the Poteet community. Julian, born on February 16, 1956, in Poteet, TX, passed away on June 17, 2024, in Jourdanton, TX. He was a proud father to his daughter Brianna Perez, whom he cherished deeply.

Julian, a man of simple pleasures, found joy in reading comic books, playing video games, and listening to rock music. His passion for cooking and snacking brought smiles to those around him, as he loved sharing his culinary creations with family and friends. Julian's love for his daughter and grandchildren was unwavering, and he took great delight in spending time with them.

Julian was preceded in death by parents Pedro Perez and Pascuala Hernandez; and his sister, Severa H. Perez.  He is survived by his daughter Briana Perez (Edgar Reveles); brothers Fidencio H. Perez and Geronimo Garcia; and grandchildren Vicente, Camila and Mateo Reveles.

Julian will be remembered for his kind heart, generosity, and love for his family. May he rest in peace, knowing he was cherished by many.

A rosary will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 10:00 am with a Memorial Mass following at 10:30 am. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton, TX.
