Karen was born November 1st, 1940, in Ohio County, Kentucky to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ford.  Karen was the eldest of two children.

She passed August 4th, 2023, at the age of 82 at Methodist Hospital in Downtown San Antonio at 8:30pm.

She is survived by her husband, David Wilson, whom she was lovingly married to for 65 years, her two sons, Kevin and Sam Wilson along with grandsons and great-grandchildren.

She was a hairstylist, business owner and later in life a well-known artist.  Her art could be seen by all those traveling through the San Antonio International Airport and was featured in private collections on three continents globally.  Mostly she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother.
