Kathleen Ann Cochran

October 3, 1945 – February 28, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Kathy Cochran, 79, of Pleasanton, Texas. After a short but courageous battle with cancer, she passed peacefully, surrounded by love.

Born in LA County on October 3, 1945, to William and Jeanne Ellis, Kathy grew up with a deep love for family, a generous heart, and an unwavering spirit. In 1965, she moved to San Antonio, where she built a life full of love and devotion. For the past 28 years, she made Pleasanton her home, creating cherished memories with her beloved husband, Ron Cochran, who she leaves behind.

Kathleen was more than a devoted wife—she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her son, Robert Arden, and her daughter, Barbara Amador, along with Barbara's husband, Roger, and her two children Courtney Jansky and Bethany de Haas.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Michael Arntz and Barbara Ellis. She is also survived by her siblings, Jim Ellis, Wendy Anzelmo, Brian Ellis, Jerry Ellis, and Randy Ellis, all of whom she loved dearly.

Through her marriage to Ron, Kathy embraced a blended family, cherishing her stepchildren as her own: Cyndi Moczygemba, John Ferguson, Josh Caballero, Jennifer Harper, and Tamara Nix.

Kathy adored her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding endless joy in their laughter and love.

Kathy's life was a testament to her deep faith and love for the Lord. As a devoted Christian, she found great joy and fellowship at Cowboy Fellowship Church in Pleasanton, where she built meaningful connections and strengthened her walk with Christ. Her faith never wavered, and even in her final days, she found peace in knowing that she was going home to be with her Savior.

Though her family will deeply miss her presence, they find comfort in knowing that she is now in heaven, free from pain, and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. They hold tightly to the promise that they will one day see her again.

Per Kathy's wishes, there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made in her memory to Cowboy Fellowship Church or Shriners Hospitals for Children, causes that were close to her heart.

Kathy's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on in the family she so dearly treasured.
