Kathleen Louise Garceau, 74, of Von Ormy, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 9, 2026. She was born in Berlin, Wisconsin, on October 23, 1951, to Robert Fugmann and Elsie (Pick) Fugmann.

Kathleen dedicated many years of her career to loan research, banking, and accounting at USAA. Outside of her professional life, she had a creative spirit and a love for arts, crafts, and antiques. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially spending time with her beloved pets.

Kathleen also enjoyed square dancing and the friendships and laughter it brought into her life. She was a proud member of the Pleasanton Art Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, where she shared her interests and formed meaningful friendships.

Kathleen will be lovingly remembered for her creativity, her many interests, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through the friendships she cherished and the beautiful moments she shared with others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elsie Fugmann.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, George C. Garceau; sons, Kevin Garceau and Curtis Garceau (Jamie); grandchildren, Cody Garceau, Reilly Garceau (Courtney), Carleigh Garceau and Roslynn Garceau; and a brother, John Fugmann.
