Krystal Nicole Garza
February 5, 1986 - October 9, 2023
The world lost a compassionate and beloved soul as Krystal Nicole Garza, 37, passed away peacefully, with her mother by her side, on October 9, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on February 5, 1986, in San Antonio, Krystal brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.
Krystal's passion for caring and nurturing led her to a career in nursing. As a dedicated Pediatric Nurse, she touched countless lives and made a profound impact on the youngest patients she cared for. Her love for children was radiantly evident, and this same nurturing provided comfort to those in need. Whenever you saw Krystal, she was always with children, she loved them, and they all loved her as well. Krystal was a true believer of God, with a strong faith that never wavered as she found peace in His love for her and His plan for her life.
Beyond her professional life, Krystal was a free spirit and a lover of life. She was her mother's whole world, and they shared many great experiences together! Her passing leaves a great void in her mother's heart that will never be filled. She was someone who truly embraced the beauty of exploration, always seeking new adventures. Traveling was a constant source of joy for Krystal. Music also held a special place in Krystal's heart, and she found joy in singing and dancing. Known for her infectious smile, Krystal had an incredible ability to find goodness in others. She approached every interaction with an open heart, radiating warmth and compassion. Selfless and generous, she always put the welfare of others above her own. Whether it was attending events to show support for her friends and family or lending a helping hand, Krystal's presence brought joy and laughter to those around her. Especially her love for her father's bar-b-que which was undeniable. She relished every bite, cherishing the flavors that her father lovingly crafted. It was a testament to her appreciation for life's simple pleasures and the importance she placed on family connections.
Krystal is preceded in death by her grandparents Gilbert and Irma Cordova, and Silvano and Nicolasa Garza. She is survived by her devoted mother, Dolores Cordova, and her beloved father, Rudy Garza and his wife Stephanie; her brothers Gilbert S. Garza and Steven Antu; aunts and uncles Amy and Rudy Escamilla, Ofie and Carrie Garza, Ramiro and Delia Garza, Becky and Gerardo Silva, Zenaida and Jesse Guajardo; numerous cousins and other relatives.
