Larry Gwynn Bunch, 64, of Pleasanton passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

He was born in Rockport, Texas on November 11, 1958 to Roger C. Bunch and Virginia Gwynn-Frenzel.

In 1977, he graduated from HM King High School in Kingsville.  He began his career with Exxon in Jourdanton, Texas and later transferred to the King Ranch Gas Plant, where he retired after 35 years of service.  Many of his co-workers became life-long friends.

Gwynn was a member of First Baptist Church of Pleasanton where he served his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He also volunteered with the Christmas Village ministry.  Gwynn loved taking care of his cows, spending time with his family, fishing and traveling.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roger; mother, Virginia, and stepfather Howard Frenzel.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Pam; daughters, Kelsie (Hunter) and Alyssa; grandson, Cooper Gwynn Allen; sister, Sharon (Robert); brothers, Roger C. Bunch, Jr., and Blake (Donna); and many nieces and nephews.

Gwynn will be remembered for his smile and humor, his eagerness to help others, and his love and devotion to his family.

Visitation will be conducted at First Baptist Church of Pleasanton on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 10:00 am with funeral service to begin at 11:00 am, followed by interment at the Rutledge Cemetery in Poteet.  For anyone wishing to leave condolences for the family, share memories or sign the online guestbook you may do so at www.hurleyfuneralhome.com .
