Obituary

Leonel "Borado" Guerrero-Mendoza, 54, passed away on February 5, 2023 in Austin. Borado was born on July 30, 1968 in Mexico.

He was an amazing father and husband, a family man that was selfless and wore his heart on his sleeve. He was hardworking, and always willing to give whatever he had to help someone out. He was an honest and dependable rancher that was respected by both management and co-workers. In his free time, he'd love to go fishing, hunting, and of course garden! And you can not forget drinking a cold one while bar-b-queuing.

Borado is preceded in death by his parents-in-law Santana Gaitan and Baldemar Gaitan; brother-in-law Jose Lupe Velasquez; and nephew Joe Velasquez. He is survived by his daughter Leonela Guerrero and husband Alfred Felan; stepdaughters Veronica Morales and Adriana Rehr and her husband Jordan; granddaughters Bellame and Araceli Felan.
