Linda Gail Richardson  was born on January 13, 1943, in San Antonio Texas. On January 4, 2026, at age 82, surrounded by loved ones, she peacefully went home to be with our Father in Heaven.

Linda was a woman of faith and a true prayer warrior. She loved deeply and lived her life to honor the Lord. Through her kindness, prayers and caring heart, she showed everyone around her the love of Christ.

She is survived by her children sons, Scott (wife Melissa), John Dale (wife Teresa) Bill, (wife Dorene), and Mark; and daughters, Marsha (husband Joey) and Deborah. She also leaves behind 27 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, her brother, Danny along with many other others who loved her and were blessed to know her.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Carrel Richardson; sons, Thomas and Lonnie Joe Jr;  daughter, Tammy; great-granddaughter baby Reese; her 13 brothers and sisters, her mother and father; and many others she loved dearly.

Linda loved visiting with family while enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of sweet tea. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and crocheting. There wasn't a baby in the family who didn't receive a handmade baby blanket from her, each one made with love.

Linda will be deeply missed, but she leaves behind a powerful legacy of faith, love, and family.  While our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing she is in Heaven, reunited with loved ones and resting in the presence of the Lord she so faithfully served.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25th, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 4:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 26th, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
