Lionel G. Trevino, 71, of Pearsall born on January 6, 1950, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in San Antonio.
Lionel is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Paula Trevino, brother, Richard Trevino, sister-n-law, Candi Trevino, and stepson, Andrew Reyes.
He is survived by his wife Norma Reyes, daughters, Teresa Wolfe (Luke), Jennie Swartwood (Dave), stepson, Marcos Reyes, grandchildren, Hillary Wolfe (Ron), Jason Wolfe, Brooke Sumners, Matthew Sumners, great-grandchild, Lacee Martinez, brothers, Manuel Trevino, Ruben Trevino (Elena), sister, Amalia Trevino, numerous nieces, and nephews.
Lionel served our community as a law officer for 27 years which included serving as county deputy for 3 years, county constable for 8 years, and Frio Co. sheriff for 16 years.
Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 7, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with an interment to follow at the Pearsall Cemetery.

The family strongly suggests masks be worn at the Church.
