Louis A. Castillo Jr., a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on September 22, 1956, in Pleasanton, TX, Louis lived a life marked by hard work and dedication as a mechanic in the automotive industry. He made his home in San Antonio, TX, where he built lasting memories with his family and friends. 

Louis is survived by his loving mother, Alice Castillo, and his siblings: Edward and his wife Margo, Becky and husband James, and Arnold and wife Alice. He also leaves behind his wife, Sylvia Garcia, step-son, Bobby Garza and wife Veronica, and his cherished grandchildren, Victoria Garza, Gabby Scheidt and husband Waylon, and Caleb Castro. Louis had a warm heart and a generous spirit, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father Louis Castillo.

The family will have a private service. In celebrating Louis's life, let us remember the joy he brought to those around him and the love he shared with his family. Rest in peace, Louis A. Castillo Jr. You will be missed.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2026, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, starting at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery #2.
