Louis C. Ortiz, age 76, of Leming, Texas, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009, in Jourdanton, Texas. He is survived by his son, Joe Louis Ortiz and wife Linda of San Antonio, daughters, Beatrice (Ortiz) Preciado and husband John of San Antonio and Vickie (Ortiz) Santibanez and husband Leo of Utah. Mr. Ortiz is also survived by his sister, Teadora Talamantez and husband Leandro of Pleasanton, as well as ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildre. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Victoria (Conde) Ortiz and grandson, Al Jararillo. Visitation is being held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, Texas, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 11, 2009. Funeral service will be at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM Friday, June 12, 2009 . Interment will be at San Ysidro Catholic Cemetery in Pleasanton, Texas.
