Louise Bertha Schlereth, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 103. Born on July 11, 1921, in Saarbrucken, Germany to Jakob and Anna (Desch) Braun.

Louise enjoyed group travel around Europe and had a deep love for her many cats over the years.  She also enjoyed watching pro-wrestling. She had a talent for crochet and knitting, creating beautiful works of art. She was an avid coffee drinker enjoying many cups of her favorite brew throughout the day. Her legacy of kindness and creativity will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Mary Sanderson; son, Henri Schlereth; granddaughter, Heather Haley; son-in-law David Haley; and great-granddaughter, Madelynn Hale.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Joseph F. Schlereth; son Michael F.  Schlereth, and parents, Jakob and Anna Braun.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Pleasanton City Cemetery.
