Obituary

Heaven rejoiced Friday, December 19, 2025, as our sweet, Lylli, finished her race triumphantly at the age of 32. That was her goal, as she sought and loved righteousness. She died peacefully surrounded by her family.

Lylliana Huddleston Guerra was born July 10,1993, the daughter of Les Huddleston and Lucina Lugo Skelton. She married her best friend and love of her life, Michael Guerra, on December 19, 2015.

Lylli was undoubtedly a one-of-a-kind rare gem. Everyone whose life she touched can attest to her loving, caring, thankful and humble heart. She truly cared for others more than for herself. Although she was born with an imperfect, incomplete natural heart, it was made complete and filled with immense love for others. Her care and love increased even the more so as she hungered and sought for righteousness. She loved to feed from God's Word by reading her bible diligently daily with great passion. The natural imperfections of her heart became less important to her as her spiritual life increased. Her faith in The LORD was, and will continue to be, an encouragement to others.

As "big" sister, her siblings looked up to her for guidance and approval. Her beautiful smile would light up even the darkest day, and her sense of humor was on point, always! Mocking herself just to cheer up someone or to make others laugh was something she enjoyed doing.

Lylli was a beautiful soul that walked in love. For that, and for her beautiful smile, she will always be remembered.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Leslie D. Huddleston, Sr. and Jesus M. Lugo Sr.; grandmother, Carmen Castruita; brother, Sebastian Salinas; and uncle Frank Wayne Balaszi.

Surviving are her parents: Lucina Lugo Skelton (Jason), Les Huddleston (lcela), biological father Jose Castruita (Sara), and stepfather Ronnie McCarthy. Brothers: Diego Huddleston (Maggie), Uriel Castruita, Ramon Castruita, Leonel Castruita, Ivan Salinas, stepbrothers Jayden and Reed Skelton; Sisters: Deja Huddleston, Milaina Garcia (Cody), Mercedes Reyna (Jacob) Katrina McCarthy (Nick), Isabel Castruita, Alejandra Castruita, Abril Castruita, Brianna Salinas and stepsister Frankie Skelton. Grandparents: Maria A. Lugo, Nell Huddleston (Joey), Ramon Castruita, step grandparents Royce and Carla McCarthy. Nephews: Caleb and Cameron Garcia, Amari Wayne Sanchez. Niece Sonsirae Huddleston and soon to arrive Baby Huddleston (Diego), and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

"Lylli, we love you more!"
