OBITUARY FOR
MADILIN BLAISE DIAZ
2004 - 2024
Madilin Blaise Diaz was born February 12, 2004, in San Antonio, Texas to David Nicholas Diaz and Alicia Kay Diaz. Our beloved Blaise was received by the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Monday, June 3, 2024.
Blaise attended Pleasanton schools and graduated early from Pleasanton High School in December, 2021. Blaise was an athlete and began playing soccer when she was just 4 years old with TCYSA and San Antonio Select teams. Once she began Pleasanton High School, Blaise played on the Women's Eagle Soccer and Golf teams from her Freshman to Junior year. Blaise was also an Athletic Trainer for the Pleasanton Eagles Football team during her last two years of High School.
Blaise began attending Texas State University in January, 2022 in San Marcos, Texas. In January, 2024, she began attending William Edge Institute School of Cosmetology in New Braunfels, Texas. Blaise worked part-time while attending high school and college and always made it a point to return to Pleasanton to help take care of her mother Kay or travel in order to see her little brother, Keeton, play in all of his sports.
Blaise was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Linda Ellis, maternal aunt, Taryn Evans, paternal grandfather, Erasmo (Eddie) Diaz, and paternal grandmother, Maria C. (Connie) Diaz.
Blaise is survived by her loving parents, David and Kay Diaz, older sister, Zoei Diaz, younger brother, Keeton Diaz, and a long list of loving relatives and friends.
Blaise will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. Blaise loved her family tremendously. She also loved her friends and protected them fiercely. Blaise was the kind of young lady that any parent would be proud to call her "daughter". She was fierce in how she loved and respected those around her and yet had a heart filled with kindness, loyalty and service for everyone.
The Diaz family would like to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of love, support, photos, memories and compassion shared with them over this difficult time.
Funeral services for Blaise Diaz will be on Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton, Texas. Visitation will begin at 10:30am; Rosary will be recited beginning at 12 noon and Mass at 12:30pm.
