Magdaleno O. De Leon, a cherished husband, dedicated father, adoring grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, peacefully passed away on August 20, 2023, at his residence in Pleasanton, Texas. Born on July 22, 1935, to Carlos & Gregoria De Leon in Dobrowolski, Texas, Magdaleno's remarkable journey was marked by love, faith, and a profound appreciation for life.

Magdaleno, a man of strong character and unwavering faith, was deeply devoted to his wife, Adela De
Leon. Their marriage of many years blessed them with a lifetime of memories, laughter, and
togetherness. Magdaleno's unwavering love for Adela was a testament to their unbreakable bond, as
they navigated life l s challenges and celebrated its joys hand in hand.

A dedicated family man, Magdaleno found immense joy in creating lasting memories with his children,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether he was imparting his wisdom, sharing stories of his life,
experiences, or simply enjoying the presence of his family, Magdaleno's love, and guidance made a
profound impact on everyone he encountered. His legacy of love and devotion will forever echo through.
generations to come.

Magdaleno was a man of simple pleasures and found solace in his faith and the tranquility of nature. He
found great delight in spending his free time fishing, a passion that allowed him to appreciate the
beauty of the world around him. In the peacefulness of the waters, he found solace and renewed
strength.

Throughout his career, Magdaleno worked for RW May as a painter in the industry, employing his
creative talents to bring life and beauty to various projects. His dedication and craftsmanship were
evident in every stroke of his brush, leaving an indelible mark on the places he touched.

Magdaleno was preceded by parents, Carlos & Gregoria (Oropeza) De Leon, and great-granddaughter,
Araceli Salinas.

He is survived by the love of his life Adela (Garza) De Leon, for 65 years; children, Gloria Rubio (Joe),
Daniel De Leon (Yvette) and Diana Guerra (Gerald); grandkids, Crystal & Christopher Rubio, Meaghan,
Daniel, and Emily De Leon, Ashtian Barrera, and Aubrey and Amber Guerra; great-grandkids, Natalee and
Kayhlee Rubio, Paizlee De La Fuente, Makayla Reyes, Jayden Rubio, Paige Reyes, John-Luke and Hunter
Valdivia, and Nahellie and Ark Barrera; brothers, Roman De Leon (Maria Elena), Andres De Leon; and
sister, Juanita Pesqueda (Andres) along with numerous other family members.

As we bid our final farewell to Magdaleno O. De Leon, we gather to honor his remarkable life and
enduring legacy. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing at Hurley Funeral Home chapel in
Pleasanton, TX on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm and services from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
A funeral service will follow on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 9:00 am at Hurley's Funeral Home in
Pleasanton, TX with interment services immediately following at San Jose Catholic Cemetery in
Jourdanton, TX. Family and friends are welcomed to join us in a celebration of life for Magdaleno De
Leon at Templo de Jerusalen at 807 Winship Rd. in Pleasanton, TX following the burial.

Magdaleno O. De Leon's impact on our lives will forever be cherished, as we reflect on the immense
love, faith, and strength he bestowed upon us. May his spirit find eternal peace and may his memory
