Margaret "Pauline" Jones, 90, of Pleasanton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 3, 2023.  She was born on August 21, 1932 in Clarkwood, Texas to Monroe Jauer and Callie Appling Jauer. She was one of 9 children and was raised on the foundations of hard work, family devotion, and faith in God.  Pauline was a talented seamstress that enjoyed making things for her loved ones.  Between being a homemaker and mother, she worked briefly outside of the home for Pleasanton Elementary as Assistant Librarian. Later, after her husband died, she worked as a secretary for Heritage Well Supply for 23 years, before retiring.  Most of her life and focus was on her children and ensuring they were taken care of and had everything they needed.  She was a kind, humble and simple woman that did not care much about worldly things but kept her thoughts and desires on heavenly things.

Pauline is preceded in death by her first husband Benny Jack Jones and her second husband Billy Joe Neal; her siblings Rosemarie Blair, Marian Shenk, Monroe Jauer, Clyde Jauer, Velma Worden, Frances Hurley, and Wilma Dennis.  She is survived by her children Benny "Mark" Jones and his wife Janice, Marcie Lynn Jones, Matt David Jones, and Michael Kent Jones and his wife Tracy; brother Robert "Buddy" Jauer; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A time of visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Hurley Funeral Home-Pleasanton with Celebration of Life Services at 10:00 am Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Hurley Funeral Home followed by burial at Rutledge Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her first love Benny Jones.
