Maria Olga
Price
Mar 15, 1936 — Nov 29, 2025
San Antonio
It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Olga Price, lovingly known as Olga, on November 29, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on March 15, 1936, in Laredo, Texas, Olga lived a life defined by faith, devotion, and compassion for others.
On February 15, 1958, she married the love of her life, Clayton Edmund "Ed" Price, beginning a 67-year partnership grounded in loyalty, humor, and steadfast care. As an Air Force spouse, Olga embraced the challenges and adventures of moving from place to place, creating a warm
and welcoming home wherever her family was stationed. She had an extraordinary gift for forming friendships everywhere she lived, and she was always quick to help neighbors or anyone in need.
A devoted Catholic, Olga lived her faith quietly but deeply, through acts of kindness, service, and love. Her final home was in San Antonio, Texas, and she passed away in Pleasanton, Texas, surrounded by her family.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Delores Rodriguez, and her siblings
Walter Rodriguez and Ludivina Rodriguez.
She is survived by her husband, Ed, and their three children: Patricia Boyd; Robert Price (Cheryl); and David Price (Stephanie). She is also survived by her siblings Thelma Guerra, Javier Rodriguez, and Rachel Taylor (Michael). She was immensely proud of her grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous joy: Shannon Busch (Brett), Sarah Butkay (Tanner), Zachary Price
(Alyssa), Clayton Price, Kailee Price, and Sydnee Price. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent celebrating their milestones, supporting their dreams, and giving them the
unconditional love she was known for.
Olga's generosity, her ability to welcome others as family, and her gentle, steady presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered. Her legacy lives on in the countless friendships she formed, the neighbors she helped, and the family she loved so fiercely.
Services will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton, Texas, on Friday, December 5, 2025, with a Rosary at 11:00 AM and Mass at 11:30 AM, followed by a wake. Her ashes will be interred at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on December 30, 2025 at 2pm. Olga's memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
