Maria Garcia Rodriguez, age 84, of Leming, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January
31, 2023. Maria was born in Leming, Texas to Manuel and Juanita (Robles)
Garcia.

Maria was a lifelong faithful servant of the Lord and married for 60+ years to her,
beloved husband. She was an active member of the Guadalupana's organization,
at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Leming, TX. She was always willing to lend a
helping hand to anyone in need. She worked for many years and retired from
Retama Manor South in Pleasanton. She spent the rest of her years gardening,
and enjoying time with her family.

Maria is survived by her sons John Joe Rodriguez, John Roderick Rodriguez and,
partner Maria Esther both of Leming, Texas, daughter Monica R Valdez and
husband Alex of Leming, TX, brothers Fidel and Manuel Garcia and sisters Carolyn
Pena, Lucinda Gonzales and Lucy Guzman. She is also survived by eleven.
grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband Juan Ramon Rodriguez, her parents,
Manuel and Juanita (Robles) Garcia, brothers Jessie and Samuel Garcia and
daughter in law Darla Rodriguez.

A visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2023, starting at 2PM with a rosary to
be recited at 7:00 PM at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Texas. Funeral
Mass will be held Saturday February 11, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe
Catholic Church in Leming, Texas, Interment will follow at the St. Joseph
Catholic Cemetery, Leming, Texas.
