Maria Esther Solis, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, companion, daughter and sister, passed away on May 14, 2024, in Leming, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 21, 1964, in Campbellton, Texas, to her loving parents Willie Solis, Sr. and Angelita (Rodriguez) Solis. Maria was a devoted and caring woman who touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. She was a lover of dolphins and Native American culture.

Maria's greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: sons, Andrew (Jennifer) Williams, Angel James (Melissa) Williams and daughter Felicia Marie Ortiz; as well as five grandchildren, Israel Angel Williams, Ever Love Williams, Sylis Kal-El Williams, MariAnn Grace Williams, Preston Cole Williams and one great-granddaughter, Amelia Williams; her companion for last eighteen years, Rawdy Rodriguez and her mother, Angelita Solis, sisters, Diana Solis, Estella Solis and Sylvia Solis, along with several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much and also felt loved from, especially her liver transplant hero, nephew, Eric Guerra, who had given her the chance to be with us a little longer.

She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Willie Solis, Jr. and Joe Raymond Solis, and recently by her father, Willie Solis, Sr. May they all rest in peace and be remembered with the happiest of thoughts.

A celebration of life for Maria will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Hurley Funeral Home, starting with a visitation from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 pm.  Services will conclude at the funeral home.
