Marlene Laree Holmes  Karambis

March 1,1942- January 22,2026

Marlene "Marty" L. Karambis, age 83, peacefully went home to be with our lord on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Marty as she was commonly known, was a woman of great faith.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Frank Rohig and his wife Erica Huntington, and Echo Denning.

Marty was preceded in death by Melissa "Thumper" Lambrect.

Before her Alzheimer's became too severe to go out, she loved to go to the Pleasanton River Park to talk about the Lord, her cat Scruffy, and family with her good friend Melissa Reed.  She fondly talked about truck driving and working at the Farmers Daughter.

Marty will be deeply missed by family and friends. While our hearts are heavy, we are happy knowing she is in Heaven, reunited with loved ones and resting in the presence of the Lord.
