Marshall Keith Vaughn, age 88, of Pleasanton, TX, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025.
He was born to Willie Joel Vaughn and Lillian Estelle Vaughn on December 18, 1936, in Griffin, GA.
Marshall was a loving and faithful husband to his beloved wife of 64 years, Alice Espinosa Vaughn. He was a cherished brother to Joyce Ledbetter and was preceded in death by his brother, Robert (Billy) Vaughn.
He was the proud father of James (Irene), Jonny (Jeanette), Lisa (Jacob), and Jason (Elva). He cherished his grandchildren— Staci, Charles, TJ, Phillip, Desiree, Garret, Jacob, Alyssa, Caleb, Jeremy, Jon Errick, Dylan, Lillian, Aliyah, and Sophia—and took great joy in his 13 great-grandchildren.
Throughout his life, Marshall was known for his deep love of God and family, warm sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to serving others. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Marshall proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and honor. Following his military service, he continued to live a life dedicated to family and community.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Hurley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a service beginning at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
