Martina (Tina) Flores Gomez of Pleasanton, Texas, was called home on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the age of 61. She was born on March 22, 1964 in Poteet, Texas to Oralia and Jose Flores.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Oralia and Jose Flores and brother, Tony Flores.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Amber Lynn Gomez (Jules), Juan "Matt" Gomez, friend, Albert, her cherished best friend, Laurie Castillo and Juan Gomez, dear friend and husband of 25 years.

A devoted mother, Tina took joy and happiness in spending time with her children, favorite daughter-in-law and her 2 fur kids Rufus & Gigi. She was very proud of her children, their careers and accomplishments. She always encouraged the importance of education and was able to see them both reach this goal and graduate from college. She loved girl trips with her best friend, Laurie, especially the beach. She also enjoyed her hobby of riding her motorcycle and always making time to enjoy her two pups which she adored.

Tina dedicated 28 years of her career as a Registered Nurse. Choosing to follow in the footsteps of her older brother, whom she looked up to, also a nurse. Her path led her to STRMC in Jourdanton as an Emergency Room Nurse. She had a great devotion to compassion and care for her patients. Tina also worked at the Frio Regional in Pearsall and Connally Memorial in Floresville. She would develop long-term close friendships with many she worked with, over the years that became the best of friends.
