Mary Jane Briskey passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in Jourdanton at the age of 83. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on Tuesday, September 3, 1940, to Arthur Cantrell and Irene Elizabeth (Lohkamp) Cantrell. Mary enjoyed working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed quilting blankets. Her family meant everything to her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward L Briskey; son, David A. Briskey; and brother, Artie Cantrell.

She is survived by her daughter, Diana Kliner (Mark); son, Ed Briskey (Barbara); grandchildren, Steven Kliner, Nathan Kliner, Kevin Kliner, Eddie Briskey, Michael Briskey and Christina Briskey; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, starting with a visitation at 10:00 am, with a celebration of mass at 11:30 am, followed by interment at St. Matthew Cemetery.
